Welcome to the River City Corvette Club

We are an extremely active and social Sacramento, California corvette club, consisting of members with the common interest of enjoying and driving Corvettes. Club functions include weekend cruises, racing events, charity events and local fun runs. Our club was founded in 1977 and we are in our 34th year! February 18 (Sat) ~ Bunco ~ Rancho Cordova Elks Lodge 11440 Elks Cir, Rancho Cordova. Need Directions? Spaghetti dinner at 6:00, $10 per person. Bunko 7:30 sharp. The cost is $7, of which $2 goes for clean-up and bartender and the remaining $5 is for prizes for bunko winners. Card tables are needed. Singles are welcome. See Flyer for Details.

March 1 (Thur) ~ Monthly Business Meeting ~ 7pm. Held at the Dante Club, 2330 Fair Oaks Blvd., Sacramento, CA. 95825. Need Directions? Prospective members are always welcome to attend any of our club meetings.

March 23- 25 (Fri-Sun) ~ Ronald Reagan Library Run ~ This year one day will be spent at the Reagan Library and one at the Nixon Library. Bus transportation will be provided to and from the museums. Call the Posada Royale for reservations, 805 584-6300, $97 per night, breakfast included. 25 rooms are available and 18 are already taken.

March 31 (Sat) ~ Bowling ~ Strikes Bowling, Rocklin. Rosie is working on it.

April 5 (Thur) ~ Monthly Business Meeting ~ 7pm. Held at the Dante Club, 2330 Fair Oaks Blvd., Sacramento, CA. 95825. Need Directions? Prospective members are always welcome to attend any of our club meetings.

April 6-8 (Fri-Sun) ~ Central Coast Cruise/Pismo beach Run ~ Stay at The Cliffs Resort , located at 2757 Shell Beach Road, Shell Beach, CA. 93449. Room Rates: $149.00, $169.00 and $189.00 per night . Friday evening the Smiths and Bartyllas will host a margarita & snacks Happy Hour in their adjoining ocean view rooms. Pot luck items would be welcome. BYOB if you want to drink something other than margaritas. See flyer for details.

April 21 (Sat) ~ Spring Fling ~ The theme will be 50’s. There will be a Polynesian buffet. The cost is $35 per person. 7pm. Held at the Dante Club, 2330 Fair Oaks Blvd., Sacramento, CA. 95825. Need Directions?

May 11-13 (Fri-Sun) ~ Callaway Tour ~ 15 suites blocked (7 rooms already reserved) at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana, at $114 per night. Call 800 826-7827 for reservations.

June 22-23 (Fri-Sat) ~ Tahoe Corvette Show ~ June 24-26 (Sun-Tues) ~ Ashland Oregon Run ~ There will be a Lake Tahoe Car Show sponsored by the Lake Tahoe Corvette Club Fri 6/22 – 6/24. Meet 6/22 at 10am at the McDonald’s in El Dorado Hills located South of Hwy 50 & Latrobe Rd. Staying for 2 nights at the MontBleu Hotel/Casino. Contact hotel @ 800 648-3353 mention “Corvettes @ Lake Tahoe” – Group Code STVET12 for special rate ($159 + tax / day. This group will leave the MontBleu Sun 6/24 @ 9am to drive up to Ashland Oregon to meet up with Ralph and Dodie Pockress’ Ashland Run Group in Ashland Oregon. Ralph and Dodie’s Ashland run will depart from Sacramento on Sunday 6/24 with that run going through 6/26.
